Window Shutters in Munster

Window Shutter photographs are in short supply this month, the sunlight was not the best and the photos didn't do justice to the fabulous look of the newly installed shutters.

Lately, we have been busy launching our new range of Wainscoting, a product closely related and complementary to shutters. What is Wainscoting? Follow the link on the blog homepage and all will be revealed!!

We have fitted the window shutters in Cork and Limerick this month and ventured into Waterford so its only a matter of time before the sun shines and I will have more beautiful examples of recent work to post.

Adare Shutters - Any Shape, Any Size!

Exactly that! If you can fit a blind into a space, you can fit a shutter into that same space! All you need is time, and some very exact measurements! Thats why all our shutters are measured by our experts - because there is no room for anything but the best! As the saying goes...watch this space!

Enough about the snow! Why are shutters so practical? Because of their excellent energy saving properties...when closed they become a robust barrier which prevents heat escaping through windows. Slatted Shutters are also fantastic for providing privacy while not blocking out light. This makes them a popular option in front rooms and bedrooms, but we're also seeing a massive number of consumers putting shutters in bathrooms. This is down to their clean styling and simplicity.

White Wooden Shutters

On this windy November day this beautiful wooden shutter keeps the cold so far from your mind that you could think it was summer ! As always the made to measure and expertly installed shutter enhances the window and the entire room.

Shutters for School!

Shutters in School!! The teachers and pupils alike were delighted to return to their classrooms in Carysfort School, Dublin. Shutters are the perfect window solution for the Irish weather. Closed shutters keep the glare from the classrooms, yet the wood will keep the heat inside in winter when the wind is howling outside.

The wooden shutters on this job provided quite a challenge as they really came in all shapes and sizes. Nonetheless we completed the work within 3 long days before the eager students returned to school on September 1st.

Customer Opinion on Wooden Shutters!

"Hi Eamon, Joe fitted my shutters last Friday and did a wonderful job. I realise that it was a very small job, yet at every stage, I felt I got the very best of service. They look fantastic and are beautifully fitted. I am also pleased with what I chose but again this was due to Joe's advice and expertise.Thank you very much for the excellent service and I hope you continue to do well in these hard times. It is often harder for the best companies as they can be undercut by the cowboys!"

"Hi Eamonn, Joe came yesterday to make the final adjustments to our shutters. I just wanted to let you know that we are delighted with them and have had many enquiries about them. I would also like to say how impressed we were with Joe. He was so polite and respectful. He hoovered up after himself and his work was meticulous. Please pass on our compliments to him. Thanks again!"

Adare Shutters - return to Dublin Road

The staff at Adare Shutters are enjoying the challenge of their recent move to Parkpoint, Dublin Road. As many will remember the business was located on the Dublin Road at Oaklands Furniture some 7 years ago, so it is great to return! The surrounding area has changed somewhat but anybody shopping at Aldi will see the Adare Shutters and Apollo Blinds display facing them as they drive out of the carpark.
Our business address is still 75 Eastlink Business Park, as this is where we make the blinds to order.
We look forward to seeing our customers (old and new) at Parkpoint and to providing the best service and value to everybody now and in the future.
